Where are you located?East Gate Apartments are located in the heart of the village of Manlius, one of Syracuse's most desirable neighborhoods. How far from Syracuse are the apartments located?Easy access to Rt. 481 and 690 makes the commute to downtown Syracuse about 20 minutes. We are located 6 miles from downtown. Is there an application fees?No, our application is free. In fact, you can down load application from our web site and mail or fax back. How long does the approval process take?Once we receive your application, we usually have a decision within 24 hours, or less. How much of a security deposit you require?We require a deposit equal to one month's rent. How long is the lease?Our standard lease is one year, with an automatic renewal at the end of one year. Do you have short term leases?Under special circumstances, we will modify the rental agreement terms. The most common is a 6 month lease term. The rent for a 6 month lease is 10% higher per month than the standard 1 year lease. Do you accept any pets?We do not allow cats or dogs, however small pets (i.e.fish, birds, frogs) may be allowed at our discretion. What is the average utility bill?Your heat and hot water is included in the rent, so you are responsible for your electric bill for lighting, cooking, etc. We estimate this bill at $40.00 per month average. Of course, this average depends on your individual usage. Is there laundry on site?There are two sets of coin-op washers and dryers and a folding table in each building. The cost is $1.25 to wash and $1.25 to dry. Is there storage on site?An individual storage bin in the basement is provided for each apartment, You supply your own lock. Is there parking?We have ample parking lots for your use. You will need to register your vehicle with the office and you will be supplied a parking sticker.
